St Petersburg Russian Restaurant - Liverpool Description
Opened in 1996, St Petersburg Russian Restaurant one of the few genuine ones in England and claims to have an admirable philosophy: "We love to serve! Good food brings people together!" The restaurant was highly commended in the category Best Liverpool Restaurant by Cheshire and Lancashire Life Magazine's Food and Wine Awards 2004 - 2005.
The place has even been used for film sets, including Sparkle with Bob Hoskins, it also boasts top class live entertainment every Thursday to Sunday. The food is as authentically Russian as possible with well known favourites, such as blinis, black and red caviar, beef stroganoff and chicken Kiev. You might say that a visit to the St Petersburg Russian Restaurant is like leaving Liverpool and transporting oneself to Russia, making it a unique experience which shouldn't be passed up.

The meal and service at this restaurant were fantastic and the choice of vodka was great. The members of staff were really friendly and I would definitely eat there again.

This was once a favourite but we haven't been there for over a year. We booked and arrived to see that the place was nearly empty - not a good sign for a once busy restaurant. I got the impression the place has been sold and everything we experienced supported this. The alcoholic and non-alcoholic beer were unavailable, leaving only lager. We then waited forty-five minutes for the cold salted fish and scallops starter, which arrived separately and the scallops were overcooked. We won’t be returning.
