St William's Restaurant Description

Tucked away behind the Minster at York is this little gem, in the old college building, worthy of attention if you are looking for a lite-bite or even a full meal in that delightful city.

Red onion and roast pepper tart, sandwiches, good tea and a great selection of Yorkshire cheeses are available, and more substantial meals are on the blackboard and can vary with the day, the market and the chef.

Prices are incredibly reasonable, which is probably not unreasonable. Service can be as eternal as the worship which goes on in the adjoining Minster, but be forceful.
