Housed within the Edwardian splendour of Manchester's former Stock Exchange, Stock Restaurant is now well-known as one of the city's premier Italian restaurants. Yellows and reds abound in the dining area filled with plants and well-spaced tables, away from eavesdropping neighbours.

Presiding over the kitchen is executive chef and founder Enzo Mauro, who brings to Stock his inimitable style of Italian cuisine, characterised by his insistence on using only the finest and fresh ingredients; from the classic antipasti and homemade gnocchi to the now legendary steak Fiorentina and mixed seafood platter. Some of the highlights of the table d'hôte menu are fresh mussels with smoked pancetta, Savoy cabbage and fresh cream, beef stroganoff with herbs risotto and chicken cacciatore in a rich sauce of tomato, garlic and peppers with herb roasted potatoes.
