Strok's Restaurant Description

Sir Christopher Wren, renowned architect, chose for himself a salubrious little spot by the River Thames, cosy with the towers of Windsor Castle. Now it has as its centerpiece Stroks (Art Deco) where Philip Wild is hard at work putting some flamboyance into the cooking with great gusto. The results are challenging and brilliant, particularly when you are faced with a choice between the traditional dishes and some of the more daring options (think Garlic snails). The wine list is predominantly Gallic, but very wise, with house wine from £12.50.
