Subterraneo Description
Subterraneo is situated at the base of Hill Street in a cosy basement setting. The menu is a rather bizarre case of Italy meets Mexico with a choice of pasta and pizza dishes but with most of the menu biased towards Tex-Mex classics.
Appetisers range from calamari, nachos and roasted tomato soup to main courses such as Cajun chicken and sizzling fajitas. There's also live music on Wednesday evenings and they always serve a mean margarita.

We ate here for my son's twenty first birthday. The food was outstanding, the service friendly, the location perfect and the bill, extremely reasonable. Parking was the only problem. There is a private car park in Heron Place around the corner where you can park after six on evenings.
