Carefully selected, locally sourced, fresh, seasonal ingredients are chosen to create a distinctive menu of modern British flavours; this changes every six weeks and is also supplemented by daily specials.

Confused (1 December 2008)
I visited Sugar Snap recently, and although it was quiet for a Sunday night the food was superb. We found a 30% off voucher online somewhere, but would have happily paid the full price as the food was so good. The only problem I found was deciding between the items on the menu as there were several, which I really really wanted to try. What leaves me confused are the negative reviews from previous years. It makes me wonder whether the restaurant changed hands, or if there have been major staff/chef changes? It's either that or local competitors writing reviews. My partner and I plan to go back as soon as possible to try some of the other delightfully sounding dishes on the menu.

I went to Sugar Snap and found that they serve Central London food at normal prices and enjoyed a wonderful meal. Granted, it was quiet - but I am not sure why - as the food was exquisite. I think that the menu has been carefully thought out and reflects seasonal produce. The members of staff were friendly and it was not a long wait for our starters. I would rather wait for food to be cooked fresh rather than quickly from the microwave. If you live locally and have not tried this restaurant - I would recommend it and have done so to many of my friends who live locally.
