The place is fantastic and serves the best Tom Yum soup I've had in years. It is also reasonably priced and very friendly, so if you get a chance to visit it - don't miss it.

These guys are incredible - they saved my life a couple of weeks ago. I was filming in Cornwall, and we finished late one night, but no-one bothered to tell us Cornwall shuts down by 8 o'clock at night. The only place we could find still open was Sukothai in Penzance. Just as we were entering the restaurant, I realised I'd lost my mobile - a complete nightmare on any shoot. But the entire staff came to my rescue grabbing torches and helping me retrace my steps in the night. Finally after about half an hour, one of them managed to track the phone down, salvaging the next filming.

Once inside, the staff were fantastic - they told us all about Thailand, and helped us pick delicious dishes, all at a very reasonable price. They stayed open especially for us until we'd finished our meal at a leisurely pace, and recommended places to go out clubbing in Cornwall, so by the end of the evening they felt like friends. I would recommend this place to everyone - our best night out in a long time.
