Sun Cafe

25 Sun Street, Lancaster, LA1 1EW

Lancaster's creative Italian restaurant serves a variety of seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes. Bookings are advised, especially at weekends. Lunch is a special feature and excellent value with a great choice of ciabattas, salads, breakfasts and coffees, all at extremely reasonable prices; evening 'a la carte' is rather more expensive but the selection of main course dishes is greater, with offerings like roast loin of lamb, red wine reduction and juniper berries, confit of garlic or Scottish beef fillet, forest mushrooms, porcini and demi glace.
