Supperclub was founded by artists. 'Leave all your cares behind you' was the message that architect Rob Wagemans of Concrete wanted to put across when he thought up the supperclub interior. 'Whether you're in Amsterdam, Rome or San Francisco, when you step into the supperclub, you lose your connection with the outside world. A Supperclub evening is only a success if all five senses are stimulated. You can be yourself here, and let yourself go.'

Head chef Guus Wickenhagen every week puts together a surprise menu of five courses, new dishes, new combinations, new flavours, from over the whole world. But eating and drinking at Supperclub is always unforgettable. You get sweetmeats in hospital kidney bowls, a pair of rubber gloves with which to eat them, you can eat your oysters from the body of a naked woman or her red dress turns out to be made of slices of carpaccio. Food at Supperclub is accompanied by the right music.

Many of the DJs who perform in Supperclub also work in international clubs, discos, at parties and festivals where they gain new inspiration. Twelve exclusive, already world-famous, Supperclub compilation cds have been brought out. Performances are at least as important as the guests and the food.
