Sushinho

Brazil is home to the largest Japanese community outside of Japan, and the stunning Sushinho in Kings Road demonstrates what the established Japanese community in Brazil has come to be known and loved for, while simultaneously giving a platform to tasty Brazilian cuisine.

When it comes to the food expect to find Japanese choices such as the Sushinho tempura roll with salmon, crab, and cream cheese; and bruléed tuna nigiri topped with foie gras and mango. Other choices include nigiri, sashimi, hand-rolled temaki sushi, hossomaki, gunkan, and uramaki.

The Brazilian part of the menu comprises grilled tuna with cassava puree, and molasses duck breast with sancho pepper and kiwi. Starters encompass edamame, sweet potato gyoza with truffle, and wasabi prawns alongside a seaweed salad, and miso soup. Finish with something sweet like the star anise bavarois, caramelised banana, and plum wine jelly.
