Swan at Felsted, The Description
Rebuilt after a devastating fire in the early 1900s, the Swan at Felsted has enjoyed pride of place in this picturesque North Essex Village for centuries. It is ideally located in the heart of East Anglia, and a mere fifteen minutes from Stansted airport; the imposing exterior hides within a delightfully clean and refreshing atmosphere with contemporary decoration, friendly and attentive staff.
Freshly prepared menus are stacked with local produce, this gastropub's dishes are designed to stimulate the senses, whilst retaining a simplicity that allows the quality of the ingredients to shine through. Changing seasonally, the a la carte menu offers an interesting selection of modern European dishes, whilst the lunch menu keeps us in touch with our pub roots.

I visited The Swan nearly week ago and from the moment we opened the doors, till we left, we felt welcome, well looked after .We were highly satisfied. The atmosphere was wonderful and very homely. And the food was great, and I don’t believe my mom could have done better. They have a very nice a la carte menu with something for everyone: including burgers and fish and chips. They have a great selection of ales and wines. We will be back.

We had an amazing experience at The Swan at Felsted! I had eaten there in the past and left disappointed. I gave them another go having heard about new head chef and new manager and what a change. The service was professional and friendly, and the food wonderful. My husband ordered steak and I had ravioli. Both our children had burgers, my older son from regular menu, and the younger, from kiddies menu. It was all cooked perfectly and the hand cut chips were great. We could not have eaten better!
