Swan House Description

Located next to the historic Church Tower of St. Michaels in Beccles is the acclaimed Swan House restaurant which brings a decadent European touch to the culinary scene of this charming town. Since opening in 1993, they have come to represent fine Anglo-International cuisine served in a relaxed and laidback atmosphere with the terrace and whitewashed courtyard offering delightful al fresco options.

A typical à la carte menu could bring you starters of salmon and anchovy fishcakes served with sorrel sauce and wilted spinach followed by a main course of beef cheek served with fresh asparagus, potato and carrot purées on a rich cabernet sauce. Rich desserts, the likes of a brown bread ice cream served with a chocolate brownie can easily do away with any plans you might have had of sticking to a diet. Over 50 wines from across the world make their presence felt in the drinks list which also features numerous bottled beers.
