The décor at Sweet Chilli is kept simple, sporting plain white walls and wooden floorboards, with a funky bar area to add interest. The food here is traditional Thai cuisine cooked by a Thai chef who learnt her art back in Thailand and still has fresh ingredients specially imported for true authenticity.

Starters are priced around £4, but for £9.95 you can indulge in the Sweet Chilli platter for two consisting of: chicken satay, spring rolls, fish cakes, dumplings, crispy coated shrimps and minced chicken on toast.

From the list of main courses the most noticeable dishes are crispy noodles in a tamarind sauce, steamed trout with lemon and spring onions and the delightful grilled duck with seasonal Thai herbs and chilli.

Sweet Chilli also has a function room available for groups and offers a takeaway service too.
