Tai Pan - Liverpool Description

The Tai Pan formula both here and in Manchester seems to work well. A visit to this one in Liverpool one Sunday morning leaves no doubt as to its success as hordes of happy Chinese devour their Dim Sum. On the assumption that most people go somewhere like this to enjoy their food rather than the décor, you will be happy too. Trolleys loaded with hot, steaming food circulate amongst the tables and you order what you will. Prices are reasonable, service is efficient rather than friendly, parking is secure and you are advised to do as the Chinese do and drink tea with your meal.

I have been to the Tai Pan many times and I find the food and service excellent. The food is particularly good. It’s an excellent place for an excellent Chinese meal. I will definitely be going again.

Just back from the Tai Pan - what an absolutely gorgeous meal! The Cantonese Duck which was warm off the bone is an experience that mustn’t be missed. The Salt & Pepper Squid is superb. As a local, I was in the minority; the majority of customers were Chinese. Need I say any more? Well done Tai Pan!
