Tamarai Description
Launched in 2006 with a spate of parties hosted by Tatler, Jimmy Choo, Sir Paul Smith and others. Tamarai is designed as hybrid hub, making it is a perfect choice for private hire, business meetings, launches and screenings.
Chef Manish Mehrotra's interesting pan Asian menu is complemented by an excellent selection of wines compiled by Tim Atkin MW, it was named as Best Wine List in London by The Independent. It also boasts a full-fledged dance floor and state of the art audiovisuals including 11 LCD screens. From an art gallery, lazy lounge and a fine dining restaurant to a post 11pm late night bar, Tamarai reinvents itself seamlessly.

It’s a trendy but overpriced restaurant, after a poor reception, the service did not improve. The starters were good, but the main course lacked substance and was generally disappointing. For the price per head, there are lots of better choices nearby. I would not recommend the place for dining, unless you would like your dessert after being requested to pay the bill.
