Tandoori Nights Description
The rather grander and smaller sister to The Ground Floor at L'Escargot, this is a showcase for the talents of Jeff Galvin, one of London's most talented chefs, however, this sort of class certainly comes at quite a price, though the quality of his modern French food is outstanding, with strong flavours predominating.
Quite tiny, a mere 30 seats, this almost has an Art Gallery feel to it, as some fine pieces by Picasso from Jimmy Lahoud's modern art collection are on display, ceramics, bronzes and lithographs, helping to relieve the slightly claustrophobic feel of the windowless room.
House wines are £14, but then prices on the wonderful wine list rise quickly and steeply, with little under £20.

Dined at L'Escargot last week. What a delight. This elegant and chic venue had the feel at home factor. Diners relaxing the atmosphere was fantastic. The food was excellent (new chefs). Great value, every dish cooked to perfection, dressed to impress and flavours divine. Put it on your to do list.
