Tanners Restaurant Description

A chef-owned restaurant that is becoming increasingly popular as the reputation for the excellence of food becomes more widely known. Not only this, but the good value for money of their set price lunch is a commendable feature, while the quality of the locally culled ingredients speaks for itself. This is a restaurant that is going places, and deserves to. Good sensible wine list with house wine at £13.95.

We ate there to celebrate my mother’s birthday and the food was out of the world. Service was excellent in a warm and friendly atmosphere. I have recommended this restaurant to family and friends as its well worth a visit.

Have eaten here a couple of times on day trips to Plymouth. The food is fantastic, served with a cheerful smile. Worth every penny, lunch is no more expensive than at the national chain across the road, but is much more interesting. Do yourself a favour and give it a go. You will not be disappointed.
