Tas - Waterloo Description

Tas has a lot of positive reasons for you to go there, as it is the antithesis of most Turkish restaurants in London: it is bright and cheerful, with excellent food, reasonable prices with an extensive wine list and a warm welcoming family atmosphere. It is situated near to the Old Vic in a rejuvenated area of the South Bank. They offer superb grills, cooked on the barbecue and served with couscous, like kofte - minced lamb with onion, parsley, pakrika and pepper or chicken kebab on skewers.

I have visited this restaurant on many different occasions and have always found it to be the same experience - great. Warm and lively atmosphere, friendly, attentive service, well priced, good quality, freshly prepared food, which you can see being cooked in the open plan kitchen. Whenever I am in the area I will most definitely visit this restaurant.
