Always my choice when up in Norwich with the teenagers. Something for everyone.

I use La Tasca regularly. It is pleasantly situated in Tombland, in the older part of the city, right next to the beautiful cathedral. Inside, it has the look of a traditional Spanish tavern. There are wooden tables, wooden floors, some tiled areas, and a main bar. The wonderful dribbly candles are all in empty wine bottles. The food is very authentic and there is a choice of tapas all day. Four types of paella take 45 minutes to prepare, are very authentic and are served from 6 pm. The staff are friendly as well. Many of the wines are available by the glass, while San Miguel and Cruzcampo are on tap. The background is usually salsa music, and if you go on Thursday, you can watch the salsa class in the galleried area upstairs. Well, it’s worth a visit.
