Taxco Restaurant Too has many things to its credit, two being the idea behind Sycamore's Cinco De' Mayo, an event to raise funds for charity, and host to the largest selection of tequilas in Northwest Illinois. The ambience can be described as fun-filled and cheerful, and invites families and large groups of diverse clientele.

The menu is Mexican through and through and brings in a hearty mix of nachos grandes, quesadillas, tamales and coctel de camarones, shrimp cocktail served in a homemade special cocktail sauce topped with chunks of avocado. Main could include tender boiled skirt steak with a cheese enchilada, guacamole, rice, beans and tortillas, and chicken breast smothered in guajillo sauce. Some great treats for seafood lovers are on offer; fresh jumbo shrimps stuffed with Chihuahua cheese wrapped in bacon, and mariscos Taxco, a melange of shrimps, fish, octopus, oysters, clams and crab legs.

The Tequila Club certainly commands respect, particularly when there are over 300 different brands to choose from.
