This is one of our favourite places for lunch. The location is really pleasant, being close to the duck pond and far enough from the main road to be peaceful. The staff are great, the eating area is clean and bright and in character for a small tea room. The food is always fresh, attractively presented and made from quality ingredients. Homemade cakes and fruit tarts are also excellent and generously served. Hardly surprising that it is best to book a table earlier in the day to avoid disappointment or a long wait.

Lovely tea room. Very pleasant staff and lots of variety on the menu. Would recommend.
