The Terrace Bar and Food at the National Theatre in Belvedere Road offers wine, cocktails and international mezze with sweeping views of River Thames and the Southbank. Located on level 2, in the Lyttelton side of the building, tables for pre theatre eating can be reserved. The bar has informal seating without reservations. Enjoy the company of family and friends while relaxing in a chic contemporary ambience.
The kitchen places emphasis on fresh, seasonal ingredients and the mezze board offers tartiflette - creamy potato gratin with onion and bacon or beetroot gravadlax with pickled cucumber and sour cream, and rabbit and white bean stew. The chef would also be happy to recommend a sharing platter for two or more.
The carefully-designed wine list has a distinct European touch while major wine producing regions from around the world are featured prominently. Also keep an eye open for the seasonal cocktail list at the Terrace Bar and Food.
