Thai Fusion Description
Going by the number of Thai restaurants popping up, it's evident that food from exotic Thailand is becoming very popular. Thai Fusion opened recently and has gained a fair level of popularity already, as the dishes there are authentic and made to order. The level of spiciness can be varied to suit the palates of customers if they are uncomfortable with the pungent overtones.
A tapas bar adds interest if you're in the mood for a snack or quick meal. The set menu offers starters of deep-fried fish cakes and lemongrass spear, while stir-fried chicken with roasted sweet chilli and fresh pineapple makes a fine choice for mains. You could pick from a selection of exotic flavoured ice creams, sorbets or settle for baked golden bean cake topped with sweet dark chocolate for dessert.
The Thai Cookery School offers a fun day for up to six people to learn three dishes during the morning, and then enjoy their creations with a glass of wine.
A Jazz night on the first Thursday of each month is popular amongst diners.

I visited Thai Fusion for the first time when passing by, one Sunday at lunchtime with my partner. The restaurant is smart, the staff are welcoming and the food is amazing. Everything was well presented, exquisitely flavoured and each mouthful was a pleasure. I will definitely be going back for more. Make sure you save room for a pudding if you like chocolate and fruit - fresh and delicious.

Based on the earlier review in July 09 I took my wife to Thai Fusion for an anniversary dinner. The sampler food menu option was excellent providing a wonderful mix of spices, meat and fish dishes. The restaurant is quite large and on the night we went there, we just 6 or so couples so it lacks atmosphere but the food more than made up for it. Friendly service and a nice touch was the arrival with coffee and chocolates and an orange with 'Happy Anniversary' carved out of the peel. We will certainly go again, although probably with the children on Sunday lunchtime. Eight out of ten!
