Thai Khonkaen
8a-10a Market Street Arcade, Leeds, LS1 6DH
Leeds City Centre business types can do away with sandwiches and salads in the afternoon and head to Thai Khonkaen Restaurant whose delicious Thai cooking and generously portioned express lunch are excellent value for money. The restaurant's unfussy décor of wooden floors, leather seats and pink coloured walls embellished with paintings and artefacts is easy on the eye. For starters deep fried corn cake with sweet chilli sauce, vegetable spring rolls and sesame seed prawn toast may impress, and this could be followed by the jungle curry of chicken, pork or beef cooked in a chilli paste with mixed fresh vegetables, or roasted duck simmered in Thai red curry with tomatoes, grapes and pineapple in coconut milk.Leeds City Centre business types can do away with sandwiches and salads in the afternoon and head to Thai Khonkaen Restaurant whose delicious Thai cooking and generously portioned express lunch are excellent value for money. Stir-fries, sizzling platters and vegetarian dishes all arrive steaming hot from the kitchen, and those who've taken their taste buds out on an adventure and handled a high degree of spice can cool off with a toffee cheesecake or banana fritters.

REVIEWS OF Thai Khonkaen
Wayne & Lisa (14 February 2009)
We visited last two Sundays and the service and food was very good. You can pay a lot more for Thai food in Leeds and it is as good if not better than the more expensive restaurants. It is definitely worth a visit, overall very good food and very friendly service. We will be dining there again. Thanks Thai Khonkaen.
Hill (31 January 2009)
I visited this restaurant on a Wednesday evening with the family and overseas visitors. What an amazing and pleasurable experience it was. The quality of the food, service and ambience was all perfect. Our overseas visitors were full of praise, as were all my family members. I can't wait to return - with more friends to impress.
