Of the several of its kind in the city Thai Orchid is well amongst the top echelon. Waitresses dressed in Thai costume glide around amongst the exotic greenery attending to the needs of guests with charm and élan. This certainly is a Thai experience overall. The food is tremendously appealing and many hitherto unknown dishes (well, to me anyway) appear on the menu, as well as the old favourites. Some ingredients are flown in on a twice weekly service from Thailand, others will come from trusted suppliers in London. Give yourself a real treat and try the Kaeng Ped Pad Daeng - roasted duck cooked in red curry sauce and fresh Thai herbs.Thai

Absolutely lip smacking food! I have been going to this place for quite a few months now, and we always try the Sunday buffet which is excellent value for money. The best Thai- Chinese cuisine I have had in UK and with such friendly staff. Together it makes it one of the best experiences for a food lover!

I recently visited the Thai Orchid in Oxford with my family and it was the best Thai food I have ever had - easily. The satay was perfect, the tom yums were perfectly balanced, and the curries were really special. I ordered a lamb massaman which had potatoes and cashew nuts - I can't find the words to describe this, but this chef is quite clearly a genius.
