Don't be put off by the plain looking decor. Thai Pin started in 1996 and built a tremendous trade and reputation without even having a name above the door for many years. There are 3 other Thai restaurants within 100 yards so you have lots of choice in the area. But, if you want really good Thai food cooked by Thai chefs, then Thai Pin is the place; every dish is freshly prepared so if you don't like an ingredient you can always ask them to leave it out or add another one in instead. What a great little find. It is little but the food is freshly cooked and the price was a lot less than what we expected. That probably explains why most people around us were regulars. Three groups arrived and ordered without looking at the menu. I'll be back.
