If you love Guildford and wish to take in extensive views of its urban landscape over some exotic Thai food, head straight to The Thai Terrace, a stylish little place on Sydenham Road. The restaurant is renowned for its imaginative yet authentic and reasonably priced fare.
You could start a romantic evening with a cocktail and then move on to sample what the cosy refuge has made itself known to serve very well! A varied menu of seasonal specialities is on offer and their dishes are created from fresh and authentic ingredients.
Starters could include Thai soups and starters of meat and seafood. Mains yield fresh stir fries, red and green curries as well as salads and different varieties of rice. You could round off a meal with panache with any of their tempting desserts. The service at The Thai Terrace is always helpful and attentive, making visits there all the more pleasurable.

April 2009 - our second and final visit. The food may be nice but we did not like being given a buzzer to tell you when to go to your table. As we were debating another bottle of wine-brandy-coffee the waiter came up and told us ‘you only have one or 2 minutes left’! You get exactly 2 hours for your slot! Sorry, but not the kind of dining experience we enjoy as a family group out for a special occasion. Far too commercial and rushed, we won’t be going back.

It’s always an amazing night out. I was out on business as a party of 70 last night and loved every minute. The food as always is beautifully presented and tastes amazing. The service was second to none and prompt. Amazing location and great view from the restaurant and terrace too. Literally can't wait to go there again sometime very soon. I would recommend it to anyone and definitely book as it can get busy up there. 11 out of 10! Thank you.
