Of the many Thai restaurants that have burst upon the streets of London in the past few years this is arguably one of the more genuine. The cuisine is broad-based and you will find most of the well-loved little numbers there. If you want to chill out at home with a selection of your preferred dishes they will rustle up a takeaway for you, but you'll not get the benefit of the friendly service which is a feature of the place. We were looking for a good place to eat in Wimbledon village, with a good atmosphere. We found the busy Thai with an inviting appeal from the street at affordable prices. The meal we selected was presented superbly by hospitable waitresses and tasted delicious. I would strongly recommend the pad ma kham and duck curry - yummy! The service was excellent and the staff were friendly and unimposing. I would definitely return to this restaurant for great food, service and atmosphere.

A few days ago we stumbled across the Thai Tho restaurant which had only opened the day before, near the Piccadilly Theatre. We went in and reserved a table for the evening. The staff were very friendly and showed us their menu and wine list and reserved a nice table for us which we had chosen. The meal was excellent; it was authentic Thai food similar to which we had eaten in Thailand a few months earlier. Everything about the restaurant was good and we will definitely visit again when we go back to London.
