Thatched Tavern, The Description

In amongst all the moneyed splendour of a very well heeled area is this 17th century, semi-thatched building with stone-flagged floors, low beams, redolent of a bucolic past. The cuisine is straight down the line, offered at affordable prices with cheerfulness and efficiency, though beware the more crowded days.

My chap and I went for a meal there this week and the food is delicious. The pub has a lovely outside eating area which is very romantic especially when the sun has gone down. Inside is equally as beautiful. Thoroughly recommend it!

Great atmosphere, fantastic food and extensive menu - you will need to book in advance as it is understandably very popular.
