In the midst of the Cheshire countryside, the Mere Court Hotel stands out as a haven of serenity and peace, with its acres of gardens, grounds and a private lake that offers unmitigated pleasure to those who want to enjoy nature in all its glory. The luxurious rooms possess every comfort and have remarkable views while their AA Rosette winning Arboreum Restaurant is delightfully atmospheric, with its beams, oak panelling and remarkable views across the lake. The cuisine adheres to traditional British menus with some Mediterranean influences to lend interest and starters could typically be caramelized chicken livers with black pudding and braised lentils followed by a main course of roasted lamb loin with herb cous cous, aubergine, chick peas and cumin jus.In the midst of the Cheshire countryside, the Mere Court Hotel stands out as a haven of serenity and peace, with its acres of gardens, grounds and a private lake that offers unmitigated pleasure to those who want to enjoy nature in all its glory. REVIEWS OF The Arboreum Restaurant
Howard Evans (22 June 2009)
My wife and I went to The Arboreum Restaurant on Saturday for our 22nd wedding anniversary. It was a wonderful experience, the service was excellent and the food was absolutely wonderful. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
