The Bell at Salford Priors

Evesham Road, Salford Priors, Evesham, WR11 8UU

With the opening of The Bell at Salford Priors, owners Sally and Dave Atkinson have brought a pub back to the heart of a village, which saw the building disused for more than six months. The décor is rustic and minimalist that is a reflection of the Salford Priors neighbourhood, and could be just the right place for a celebration meal with the family. The kitchen's determination to 'always using local produce unless impossible!' aptly sums up their commitment to source fresh ingredients and rely on suppliers who rear and farm the ethical way. Creamy garlic mushrooms served on toast and handmade fishcake on dressed leaves with a citrus mayonnaise lead the way and main courses like a classic fillet of beef Rossini and slow cooked lamb kleftico in brown sauce are executed with equal skill and panache.

Homemade Baileys and strawberry cheesecake and poached pear in white wine and cointreau are just two of the delicious desserts on offer at The Bell.

REVIEWS OF The Bell at Salford Priors

Craig (4 January 2010)

I went with my wife and an 18 month old. Service was very good, even going as far as washing the little ones cutlery for us before we left. I had an excellent steak and she had the salmon Wellington. We both found the food above expectations. We will definitely return.

Jayne Bartlett (7 August 2009)

I have been to this restaurant twice now and had an excellent experience on both occasions. There are loads of choices on the menu the food is cooked to perfection. The owners create a relaxed atmosphere, the food is reasonably priced for the quality and it is a great place for a special occasion. It also does some nice sandwiches if you fancy something smaller at lunch and the bar is really modern making it a good place to go for just a drink. I'm definitely going back; you wouldn't recognise it compared to what it looked like 6 months ago!
