The Black Cat Bistro in Main Street, features an eclectic menu with global influences and a focus on local and organic or sustainable produce. The constantly changing menu reflect the seasonality of the dishes that Chef Deborah Scarborough so enjoys creating.

This fine dining restaurant, housed in one of the oldest buildings in Cambria, has a swanky and comfortable interior with lots of cushioned benches. White table cloths adorn the tables and in the main room the fireplace glows on cool evenings.

Expect to find stuffed fried olives and crab wantons with corn curry cream, red cabbage slaw, chili oil and cilantro among starters. Main course could include rare seared ahi with butter braised jasmine rice, ginger wasabi juice, Vietnamese slaw, peanuts and shiitakes, and pancetta wrapped pork tenderloin with celery root and pear puree, Chaucer sauce, arugula, apple and pancetta sauce. The drinks list at the Black Cat embraces wines from around the world as well as hard to get local bins.
