The Borough Arms
Dunmere, Bodmin, PL31 2RD
The Borough Arms was built in the 1850s to serve as a hospitality venue for workers on the railway, now known as the Camel Trail. It was converted into a traditional country pub in the early-70s, retaining much of its period charm and original look, the simple pub exteriors lead into a warm, inviting interior complete with an open fireplace and vintage bric-a-brac. The menu is a blend of traditional pub grub and contemporary dishes which can be enjoyed throughout the pub, from the dining area to the easy chairs by the fire. Starters include home-made soup and grilled goats cheese salad, while main courses range from salmon and dill fishcakes with chips to beef lasagne or a traditional Ploughman's lunch. The Borough Arms was built in the 1850s to serve as a hospitality venue for workers on the railway, now known as the Camel Trail.
