Set in a beautiful Grade II listed stone building which dates back to 1860, The Bustard Inn sits in a lovely peaceful Lincolnshire village between Sleaford and Ancaster. The restaurant area has been beautifully restored to highlight the stone walls and original timbers and the interior features light and fresh colours reflected in the stone with tapestries and pictures. Fillet of beef with rostii potato, roast chump of lamb with ratatouille, and tomato, aubergine and chick pea fondue are some excellent filling options. If you fancy something lighter then try pan fried king prawns in garlic butter, and pork and black pudding terrine with homemade chutney.

Excellent Saturday lunch in the restaurant. Not the cheapest perhaps, but for those who put quality above price, then this is a true gem. There are cheaper options in the bar, and there would be no reason to think that the standard of food would be any less impressive. An excellent place and well worth a visit.

I would like to say that our experience at the Bustard Inn on 'Mother's Day' was great. We loved the food, the service and the staff were attentive but not intrusive and the dinning room is lovely. We intend going again and highly recommend it. Thank you for making it such a lovely day!
