This restaurant is definitely one of the finest in the world. As a well travelled culinary specialist I surely approve this as one of the most exquisitely tasteful retreats outside of London. A vibrant atmosphere polished with superb wines and with a magical menu delivering perfect food with variety, a warm, caring smile and smart, elegant, friendly staff. The owners are positively divine and this delicately dressed diner is simply exceptional. The service is faultless on every occasion. The food can only be described as impeccable and it is always consistent. Ideal for special occasions I always feel welcome and accommodated. I barely see a need to travel elsewhere. Even though it is a way from my home (as it is in a different county) it is worth the trip.

The fabulously creditable restaurant has a marvellous reputation as proven by the wall of fame - a staggering repertoire of celebrity faces served in this exclusive eatery. The place simply sells itself. Its vintage, eccentrically traditional style and decoration adds flair as one feels cosily enticed into its captivating surroundings. Words quite honestly cannot express my delight in this restaurant every time I dine there. Why eat anywhere else?

I have eaten here on several occasions and always enjoyed it immensely. You really do feel part of Lino’s family and being a petrol head I love all the car memorabilia. The food is terrific, not too fancy and very filling. It is great value too and the beauty of the Butchers is that you can spend 2 or 3 hours there. Lovely.
