Originally built in 1711 as a coaching inn, The Christopher Hotel Bar and Grill is in the centre of High Street, within easy walking distance of Eton College and the Royal residence of Windsor Castle. Having been recently modernised, it still retains much of its old world charm and is surrounded by art galleries, antique shops, historical buildings, bustling cafes and restaurants.

The kitchen produces simple but delightful classical fare with a modern British twist, while the few Moroccan specialities come as a pleasant surprise. They have an all day menu with a range of snacks, as well as full English breakfast and a traditional tea.

Nachos with guacamole salsa, sour cream and melted cheddar or Moroccan lamb and noodle parcels in a filo pastry with chilli sauce are a great way to whet the appetite.
