The Class Rooms Restaurant and Bar
26 Tudor Street, London, EC4Y 0AY
This rejuvenated Daily Mail Headquarters in the heart of the London's legal district guarantees an aesthetically appealing environment, but the feel of the place is not just enhanced by the lighting and grand fittings alone; the all-pervading air of camaraderie among diners and the soft music playing in the background also contribute to the pleasing atmosphere within. There are several dining options here, the cocktail bar, the gold lounge or silver room, and likewise a menu to suit different moods and times of the day. So there could be a smoked salmon platter and fricassée of leeks and chicken with wild mushroom tortellini in the lunch carte, or you could explore some tapas and small bites such as mini duck spring rolls and Vietnamese sweet chilli and moules marinière on the bar menu.

Desserts are no longer confined to the plate as they've now moved to the shaker; yes, there are dessert cocktails such as strawberry cheesecake, the Class Rooms? version done with fresh strawberries and puree, shaken with cream and vodka, and a dash of grenadine, topped with crumbled cookies.

REVIEWS OF The Class Rooms Restaurant and Bar
Mat (26 November 2009)
We went to Class Rooms after I saw it on their website and after my friend recommended it. We were extremely impressed by the interior décor, cocktails, even though we spilt them, service, music, very chilling after work, and tasty food. We thought it would be a bit out of our price range but were amazed when the bill came, it was worth it all.
Tim (25 November 2009)
The cocktail menu offers classic and specialty drinks, while behind the bar a mad scientist-esque mixologist creates concoctions on an individual basis.
