I had lunch at the Coal Shed Restaurant last weekend. It was recommended to me by a friend who had already eaten there. I was not disappointed. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming and the food was divine. I had a rib eye steak which was absolutely delicious. I really recommend the chips, very moreish. Now to the wines! What a fantastic selection and all reasonably priced too. I didn't have room for desert so can't comment there but I did see a few others with desert and have vowed to make sure next time I turn up that I have not eaten for a couple of days first. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic, beautifully done up, fantastic food, superb wine list. Loved everything about it from the uniforms the staff were wearing to the AMAZING chips!! Finally what Brighton has been waiting for. The food is grilled to perfection and everything is so succulent, full of flavour and incredibly juicy. Loved the donuts for dessert what a fantastic idea. The owner was charming and incredibly helpful - can't wait to go back...might have to book a table for this weekend already!!
