The Pilgrim's Way, which was mentioned in Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, has been around from pre-Roman times and The Cock Horse Inn which is on this historically renowned path is also well known, its fame crossing centuries as a stable for horses. Today it is famous as a place where you could visit with friends or family for a delicious traditional British meal.
