We went here for lunch on a Sunday, after my close friend recommended this place, and I was quite impressed. The starters were lovely and you could tell from the taste that everything was homemade. For the main course we had beef and Yorkshire pudding, with huge portions. The puddings were fantastic and there was a great selection to choose from. This visit was worthwhile and the new owners have done a good job. I will definitely be back soon.

That was my first visit with the new owners. The food was excellent, even the bread was completely homemade. We received a very friendly welcome, good service and even the Hodsons beer was of a top condition. It is worth a detour.
