How often one hears of locally sourced ingredients, but there are, of course, degrees of locality. At Cors it would hardly be possible to go more local and the results are spectacularly good; black beef, saltmarsh-reared lamb and smoked salmon come to mind. Served, often by the chef himself, against a background of vital colours, which have brought this former vicarage to life, the results are particularly satisfying. My husband celebrated his 40th birthday here with fourteen of his friends. We had the most fabulous evening; the food was superb, hot, fresh and plenty of it. The wine list was extensive and of an extremely good quality. The atmosphere was uplifting and we were made to feel very welcome all evening. Many thanks to Nick and all staff who made the evening a very memorable one!

We spent a glorious week in Laugharne, starting with the festival and ending with a wonderful evening at The Cors Restaurant. The food was delicious, the house and gardens beautiful and interestingly the proprietor Nick was a delight. Highly recommended!
