The Court of Two Sisters
613 Royal Street, New Orleans, 70130
It was two Creole sisters and their millinery shop that gave The Court of Two Sisters its name. After changing ownership many times and years later, the elegant restaurant in the French Quarter of New Orleans still warmly welcomes diners and ensures they have a great dining experience. A live jazz brunch buffet offers a selection of seasonal hot and cold dishes including eggs Benedict, sausage and bacon, grits and grillades, and shrimp or vegetable pasta. At lunchtime expect to find Creole jambalaya, turtle soup, and duck a l'orange. The cold buffet could include boiled shrimp, seafood and pasta salads, ceviche, marinated artichokes, pâtés, cheeses and a variety of fresh fruit and dessert. It was two Creole sisters and their millinery shop that gave The Court of Two Sisters its name. In the evening crayfish and wild mushroom egg rolls and fried green tomatoes with crabmeat appear on tables. Mains take in pan-fried trout fillet, baby white veal cutlets, and grilled double cut pork chop served with bleu cheese and fresh basil risotto. Sign off with a crème brûlée or banana foster.

REVIEWS OF The Court of Two Sisters
Anita Eckles (4 November 2008)
This is one of the most romantic outside dining courtyards in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The live jazz brunch buffet has every kind of Creole tasting in one place. There must be at least eighty items including eggs Benedict, omelettes made to order all day long, turtle soup, duck a-la orange, shrimp Creole, boiled shrimp, turkey, roast and many desserts, you just name it. There is a great children price and the fixed price includes coffee, tea, juices, tax and tip. The food and service are great in keeping with old New Orleans. I will go back and bring my kids next time. I am told dinner is a la carte and very romantic under a two hundred year old lit tree.
