A refurbishment programme has just been completed the list of modern amenities includes direct dial telephones, data ports, WIFI, high speed internet access, hospitality tray, LCD flat screen, satellite TV channels, CD/MP3 players, writing desk and complimentary quality toiletries. The sort of services that have vanished from so many hotels, or are given grudgingly, are standard at Ox Pasture Hall.
The Courtyard Restaurant is the formal face of the dining here. A new Head Chef has quickly gained a reputation for beautifully prepared food, and his new menu would tempt the most reluctant or fussy appetite. Before the meal on a good summer's day diners will have the opportunity to enjoy drinks on the terrace overlooking the gardens and courtyard.

REVIEWS OF The Courtyard Restaurant at Ox Pasture Hall
Sue Witty (7 January 2011)
We dined at the Courtyard Restaurant on Thursday in January 2011 with two friends to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were most impressed with the service we received and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The portions were generous and the chef kept slipping in little extra courses such as freshly baked bread and a taster of soup before the starter and a lovely mango and whiskey bitters sorbet before the sweet. After the coffee, the chef came out with some beautiful chocolate creations but we were so full we asked if we could take them home. These were nicely wrapped up on trays for us. Unfortunately we were the only ones dining, apart from one gentleman who may have been a resident, but we would definitely recommend this restaurant. The decor and location is very attractive and the hotel is clean and warm with a lovely log burner in the bar area.

We just got back from an overnight stay at Ox Pasture Hall Country Hotel, near Scarborough. We had heard a lot about the Courtyard Restaurant, so we booked the night at the hotel and a table in the restaurant. The restaurant manager personally looked after us and made us feel so special. It was looking good even before the food arrived. When the food arrived, it was impressive, perfectly presented and cooked to perfection. We had the full three courses, but received additional freebies, amuse and complimentary sorbet. I have no hesitation in recommending the Courtyard Restaurant to the most demanding foodies. The food was faultless. We were seated near the window with a picture postcard view, with crisp white linen on the table.
