Having been here a number of times, and been catered for, I am coeliac, and have even had pudding here, tailormade for me. Pork Belly, amazing! Mussels to start with, WOW! But very dissappointing last visit, Hog Roast, looked more like roast pork, and tasted the same as well. They bought out the wrong order for me, they replaced this after we pointed out that one was for me and I needed Gluten free, I was unwell before we even left, Vegetarian Option was disappointing as well, over cooked, and some over powering flavours. They did remove 2 items from the bill, and were apologetic. Upon arriving home, I was still being unwell, and my partner and my dad were also unwell that afternoon, we all had Hog Roast and Mussles. Usually a lovely place to eat.

On the way back from London, I was warmly greeted and offered the menu which had varied selection of dishes with most of the food locally sourced and also a rare breed steak menu which is what I opted for. The Angus rib eye arrived with hancut chips - probably the best I have ever had, and wild mushrooms. The steak was perfect and my wife had slow braised pork belly which was to die for. The service was very friendly. What a find! I cannot wait to go back for the T-bone.
