I stayed in the Hotel with my Wife on the 22nd of October and had a meal in the Restaurant. I thought the service was excellent and recommend as a starter the Leek and potato soup with smoked haddock and a poached egg (all in the soup)! The house wine was also very nice and reasonably priced at about £9 a bottle. The main courses were all excellent, I had lamb shanks and my wife had liver which melted in your mouth. My only complaint would be that they need more choices on the dessert menu, though again all very nice and not bought in. We had a very enjoyable time and will go again.
