Start with a til jhinga, batter fried king prawns coated with sesame seeds or a meat samosa, a deep fried triangular pastry filled with spicy minced lamb. For mains, filet of tilapia cooked in a medium spiced cumin curry and chicken tikka masala perfected in rich tomato creamy gravy are extremely popular dishes of the cuisine.

Close your meal at Cumin with a pistachio kulfi, a flavoured Indian ice cream or gajar halwa, a carrot and milk pudding flavoured with cardamom.

REVIEWS OF The Cumin Restaurant

Dominic (26 October 2010)

What a genuinely nice restaurant! Not only is the food cooked to a high quality, the atmosphere great and the selection more than adequate, the staff are warming and at no point do you feel rushed or distanced from the staff. This sadly cannot be said about many more modern restaurants and therefore puts this restaurant in a league above the rest. I cannot recommend this restaurant high enough, the food itself is bursting with flavours which I believe many Indian restaurants lack. This has exceeded all my expectations. Go now!

Damian (12 September 2010)

The Cumin Indian restaurant has a relaxed and comfortable ambience. It is a lovely place with great service. The food was excellent and had great tasting vegetarian food, flavours and subtle spices. The staff are brilliant and is very accommodating to our needs. We cannot wait to go back there again.
