The Cut Bar Restaurant and Cafe
Young Vic Theatre, 66 The Cut, London, SE1 8LZ
One of London's most popular theatre bars, The Cut is located within Young Vic's theatre and is just minutes away from the Southbank and Waterloo Station. Comprising of two floors, there is a stylish and classy bar located in the lower level, with an open air terrace and is constantly filled with crowds of theatregoers, artists and locals. The atmosphere is very casual and relaxed, where groups of young people can meet over snacks or a complete meal. The menu is also inspired by the general nature of the place, with classic and original play-themed dishes creating an interesting variation. Made of fresh and organic ingredients, it comprises dishes of deep fried goats' cheese with honey, chives and pomegranate; Shetland mussels in acapulco broth made of tomatoes, garlic, coriander, lime, cumin and baby shrimp; and simple saffron risotto with pistachio dust. One of London's most popular theatre bars, The Cut is located within Young Vic's theatre and is just minutes away from the Southbank and Waterloo Station.
