The Diner, which has recently set up shop in Islington's Essex Road, is the latest branch to open in a chain of American-themed cafes around London. Offering classic American fare full of traditional favourites, the Diner has a striking décor, featuring walls in striking shades of red and black, with intimate leather dining booths and soft lighting. Together with the meal, patrons can also relax and enjoy some lively tunes and classic cocktails.

The all- American menu consists of staples such as burgers of cheese, bacon, fish and Cajun spiced chicken, chicken meatloaf sandwich and Monte Cristo sandwich with grilled ham, turkey and cheese. Together with this the other dishes include chicken fajitas, various salads and chilli hot dogs served with cheesy fries, potato salad or sauerkraut. The restaurant also features an all-day breakfast menu consisting of dishes like the breakfast burrito, blueberry pancakes and eggs on muffin.
