The Fortune City
96 London Road, Holmes Chapel, CW4 7BD
The Fortune City has been pleasing palates consistently for more than twenty years and since the restaurant opened its doors in London Road, founder Lin, who has more than forty years of restaurant experience, has always trained his own chefs in order to maintain quality. The ambiance is calm and relaxing, encouraging customers to feel at home as they order the food. Eating is regarded as a favourite Chinese pastime and this clearly shows at The Fortune City. Expect to find dishes such as minced chicken and sweet corn soup, prawn crackers, Cantonese style spare ribs, deep fried spring rolls, and steamed prawn dumplings to kick start your journey into the Orient. Treat yourself to a main course of sweet and sour pork, sliced chicken in green peppers, duck with honey and orange sauce. The Fortune City has been pleasing palates consistently for more than twenty years and since the restaurant opened its doors in London Road, founder Lin, who has more than forty years of restaurant experience, has always trained his own chefs in order to maintain quality. REVIEWS OF The Fortune City
Dean (10 June 2008)
This is a good place to eat and it’s fairly less expensive. There is a big car park and the food is exceptional – I recommend the Cantonese fillet steak on a hot plate sizzler.
