Run by Marcus Wareing's team, The Gilbert Scott at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel on Euston Road is a delightful brasserie  and bar offering classic British dishes in a beautiful and unique setting. The striking decor with its ornate ceilings, limestone pillars and subtle lighting allows guests to indulge in a relaxed lunch or dinner in plush surroundings.

The restaurant's menu features classic British dishes prepared from seasonal ingredients and the finest British produce.  Start with a Brown and Forrest smoked salmon with soda bread and caper butter, or baby squid with duck egg, sea beet and pumpkin seeds. Main courses include a shoulder of lamb with braised black cabbage, and London Pride battered cod with mushy  pea mayonnaise and chips. Delicious desserts of apple amber, baked apple tart with meringue, and clotted cream, and gingerbread pudding with pear ice cream and caramel bring the meal to a fitting end.

Diners could relax with a post-dinner drink at the Bar or choose from a variety of exciting cocktails and wines, available by  the glass or bottle.
